Three kings come to Costa del Sol today!

Locations and schedules for Three Kings parades across Costa del Sol. Málaga, Benalmadena, Marbella & Fuengirola.
Today 5th of January is the day  the Three Wise Men come to the streets of whole of Spain and parade themselves to the public. Throwing sweets at the crowd and promising children gifts (if they’ve been good, of course) is an annual event that all Spaniards celebrate.
Three Kings, Christmas in Spain
“Families will be lining the streets to catch a glimpse of the gift-bearing Kings sitting comfortably in their spectacular carriages which slowly make their way through the carefully planned routes. Make sure you take a plastic bag to collect all the sweets which will be thrown in to the crowds from the carriages!”
After these parades, that’s when the excitement builds even more. One more sleep until children (and some adults) receive their gifts from the Three Kings. Traditionally it is usual for the Three Kings to leave gifts outdoors in places such as outside your front door, on your terrace… The legend explains that they can access your home from anywhere outdoors.
Here are a couple locations where you can find the Three Kings parade themselves through the streets of Costa del Sol:

  • Benalmadena
The Three Kings actually arrive in Benalmadena by boat!
Disembark (boat) at Marina and make their way to Benalmadena Pueblo at 16.30
Arroyo de la Miel at 18.30
  • Malaga
Parade begins at 17.00 in front of Málaga Town Hall. We suggest you better head towards la Alameda area near to famous shopping Avenue Calle Larios and wait for them to arrive. With the masses of people on the streets, you want a guaranteed view, Calle Larios will have one.
  • Marbella
At 12.00 midday at Marbella Port you will see the Three Kings arrive by boat (a catamaran actually). Around 17.00 they will visit Costa del Sol Hospital and finish off the parade at Avenida Severo Ochoa aroud 18.00.
  • Fuengirola
You would think the Three Kings would make their “fanciest” entrance in the luxors of Marbella, but this year it’s Fuengirola’s turn. Arriving by helicopter to “Elola” sports stadium at 16.00, these Three Kings then make their way towards Los Boliches Town Hall for the main parade that begins at 17.00.

We wish you an enjoyable day!
